Noa Genazzano is the founder and creative director of Universe in Motion, a multidisciplinary creative practice exploring the power of movement to inspire connection, awareness and transformation. Rooted in dance, choreography and performance, her work extends beyond the stage to explore the intersection of art, space and human experience, creating experiences that spark curiosity, shift perspectives and connect people with themselves, each other and the world around them.
Born in Barcelona, Spain, Noa graduated with high honors from the Professional Performing Arts School in New York City. During her 12 years in New York, she also graduated from The Ailey School as a Level I Scholarship Recipient. Her performance credits include participating in the White House Tribute to Judith Jamison in Washington, D.C., performing at the Park Avenue Armory Gala in a work choreographed by Matthew Rushing, appearing in Revelations at the Ailey Spirit Gala at the David H. Koch Theater, and performing Memoria with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater during its 2016 City Center season.
After moving to Europe, Noa continued her training in Ohad Naharin’s Gaga movement language and with members of Hofesh Shechter Company. Her performance work includes original creations by Maxine Doyle (Punchdrunk) and Vinicius Salles (Punchdrunk, Jasmin Vardimon), as well as Humanhood’s Universe at the Lilian Baylis Theatre in London.
Noa premiered her first original creation, U Are The Universe, at Triskelion Arts in Brooklyn in 2018. Her later work, Eutierria, premiered at the Blue Elephant Theatre in London.
Today, Noa brings her experience in movement and performance into a broader creative practice, developing concepts that bring together space, sound, storytelling and atmosphere. With a focus on audience experience and human connection, she explores how artistic vision can transform ideas into immersive, meaningful experiences that move people.
